Colder weather was somewhat of a challenge on Friday but the weather warmed up on Saturday, attracting many customers to the shopping plaza.

The all-volunteer fire department, which serves the White Hills neighborhood and often is called upon respond to emergencies throughout the city, has purchased vehicles and other life-saving equipment with money from fund-raising events such as the flower sale.
