Malloy to participate in vigil tonight to honor slain Milford student

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a community-wide candlelight vigil tonight in Milford to honor and remember Maren Sanchez, the Jonathan Law High School student who was stabbed to death by a fellow student last week at the school.

Maren Sanchez, 16, was a junior at Jonathan Law, where she had been active in student government, theater and many other activities.

The vigil of remembrance will take place Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Jonathan Law High football field, 20 Lansdale Ave., Milford.
