Public can join guided wildflower hike in Shelton on Sunday

The Shelton Trails Committee will lead a guided wildflower hike on Sunday, May 4, beginning at 1 p.m.

Free and open to the public, participants will walk on the Birchbank Trail. The three-mile hike is described by organizers as being a moderately strenuous outing.

To park, people should enter the Indian Well State Park road off Route 110 and travel one mile past the beach lot, where the road crosses the railroad tracks.
