Shelton students honored for their achievements at school

Students were recognized for improving in school.

Shelton High School held its third quarter recognition breakfast on April 30. The goal of the recognition breakfast is to acknowledge students who have demonstrated increased motivation, built self-esteem and to encourage students from all academic tracks to continue to improve academically.

Students are acknowledged at the end of the first, second and third marking periods. Staff members nominate students who have demonstrated significant improvement in academics due to improved attendance, behavior, work completion, and as a result are improving time management and study skills.

The following students were honored: Gabrielle Andes, Eric Bailey, James Ball, Zachary Brand, William Brooks, Marta Brzostowska, Jamie Chen, Michael Cook, Jalene Corey-Rodriguez, Brian Craft, Brandon Crowley, Benjamin DeMarco, Emily Garzon, Kyler Haveran, Nicholas Heanue, Mikayla Heuser, Zachary Hull, Tyler Hurd, Prashanna Kandel, Heather Keith, Edward Kochiss, Bridget Lockhart, Ryan Lopez, Klaudio Marku, Armando Martinez, Charles O’Keefe, Serena Pacelli, Antonio Pinelli, Michael Pinheiro, Connor Prindle, James Reilly, Lillian Rivera, Paul Salley, Alexandra Schaible, Kayla Sekelsky, Marcus Silva, Matthew Silverstein, Austin Slavin, Matthew Wells and Alexei Ziemkiewicz.
