Animals and disasters to be topic of presentation in Shelton

There is a Connecticut group that helps with pets and animals in an emergency or disaster, and an upcoming presentation in Shelton will explain all about it.

On Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m., Dr. Sheldon Yessenow, a veterinarian from Stratford, will talk about the Connecticut State Animal Response Team. Yessenow is a member of the team.

Hosted by Trap Falls Kennel Club, the presentation will be at Apple Rehab, 5 Lake Road, Shelton. Yessenow will explain the importance of the program, which unites individuals and organizations around the common goal of preventing and responding to emergencies and disasters involving animals in Connecticut.
