St. Joseph School will hold its annual Carnival and Food Fest from May 20 to 24 at the parish grounds, 430 Coram Ave.
The event will feature rides, games, food and a raffle.
Carnival-goers can eat everything from eggplant subs to hamburgers, and porketta sandwiches to grilled kielbasa-and-sauerkraut.
Meatball subs, pierogies, chili fries
Some of the other items on the menu are Italian chicken sandwiches, sausage-and-peppers, barbecue sandwiches, liver-and-bacon, steak sandwiches, meatball subs, pierogies, and chicken nuggets.
Also, hot dogs, chili dogs, mozzarella sticks, empanadas, onion rings, fries, chili fries, wings, clam chowder and chili.
Carnival and Food Fest hours are Tuesday to Thursday from 6-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6-11 p.m.
From pre-K to eighth grade
Proceeds benefit St. Joseph Catholic School, which offers classes for pre-kindergarten (3- and 4-year-olds) to eighth grade students. Kindergarten is a full-day program.
The school also has afterschool programming until 5:30 p.m. It promotes itself as being “where faith, family and education work together.”
