Donation to help students with homework

The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley has received a $10,000 donation from the Friends of Jimmy Miller Inc. to support its homework program at the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse in Ansonia. The main clubhouse is in Shelton. The donation will help the organization run the Power Hour program, which operates daily for club members needing assistance with their homework.
