Fore business: Greater Valley Chamber plans annual golf classic

The 18th annual Greater Valley Chamber Golf Classic will take place Monday, June 23 at the Golf Club of Oxford Greens.

Registration is at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Individuals and teams are welcome to play.

There is a four-person scramble format, and awards will be given for the low gross team, longest drive, and closest to the pin. The event includes the Curtiss-Ryan Hole-In-One contest.

 

Golf, lunch, dinner, silent auction

Business Expo to spotlight Valley businesses, restaurantsRegistration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner. There will be raffles and a silent auction. People are welcome to attend the dinner only to socialize and network.

The golf classic raises funds to support the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce’s economic and community development programming.

Based in Shelton, the Greater Valley Chamber has about 600 members and serves Shelton, Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford and Seymour.
