Bridgeport Hospital recognized employees with quarterly awards for outstanding service to patients and co-workers. One of those employees was Carolyn MacDonald of Shelton.
MacDonald, a customer service coordinator in hospital supply, has been an employee since 2007.
“In a brand new role, Carolyn has played an integral part in the implementation of the Par-Ex electronic inventory-control system, including staff education on 17 patient units,” according to a press release from the hospital. “She is a self-starter and forward-thinker. Her positive energy, and focus on quality and customer satisfaction are keys to her success.”
