Temps, humidity on the increase in Shelton for the next few days

The hot and humid weather is making a comeback in Shelton, with an increased chance of thunderstorms in the coming days.

After a beautiful weekend, the temperature should reach into the high 80s Monday, with mostly sunny skies and increasing humidity, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight, and it should cloud up. The nighttime low will be in the high 60s.

 

Tuesday and Wednesday

Here is the NWS forecast for the next few days in Shelton:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 89. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. At night, continuing chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low around 70.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 86. A chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day and at night. An overnight low in the mid-60s.
