Shelton residents face larceny and burglary charges

FI-Shelton-PoliceTwo residents of Mica Court were arrested today on charges they took $24,400 from a home on Oak Avenue in July 2013.

Shelton Police charged Kenneth Milligan and Caroline Bevans, both 24, on warrants charging them with the alleged burglary. Police said the resident who reported the theft knew the pair.

Both were charged with first-degree larceny, first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny and third-degree burglary.

Bevans was additionally charged with third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary.

Milligan was released on a $50,000 bond and Bevans was released on a $10,000 bond. Both are set to appear in court on Aug. 19.
