An application to create two lots on Twin Brook Drive through a resubdivision is expected to be heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) at its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 9.
The application has been made by David and Sherry Turechek for 35 Twin Brook Drive in the Huntington section.
They have purchased some land from an abutting property owner to help create the new lot.
The proposed two lots would be 0.93 acre and 0.92 acre in size, which meet the minimum within the designated Residential-1 zone.
The Zoning Board of Appeals previously approved a variance to create a larger lot, adding the purchased land to the Turechek property at 35 Twin Brook Lane. The ZBA noted the purchase would reduce the non-conformity of the property.
Twin Brook Drive is near Booth Hill and Waterly roads. The P&Z meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Shelton City Hall.
