Obituary: Gail M. Haas, 71, of Shelton

Gail M. Haas, age 71 of Shelton, beloved wife of Bruce P. Haas, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Gail was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Wilbert and Virginia Donaldson Chamberlain, and was a 45-year resident of Shelton.

She worked for Webster Bank and enjoyed outdoor activities, wildlife, and especially camping.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Kevin B. Haas and Tracy of North Carolina and Kurt P. Haas and wife Melissa of Ansonia, three sisters, Laurie Brown of South Carolina, Tina Walsh and husband Bill of Stratford, Lynn Agvent and husband Frank of Milford, four grandchildren, Hailey, Corey, Kyle, and Matthew, brother-in-law, Charles M. Haas and wife Mary of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother William Chamberlain.

Gail’s family wishes to thank the staff at Bridgeport Hospital Medical ICU.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with Rev. Kenneth Smith, pastor of First Baptist Church of Shelton, officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8p.m., in the funeral home.
