Did you ever want to dump a bucket of water on Mayor Mark Lauretti’s head?

Well, Shelton resident Hannah Perry got to do just that last week on the front steps of Shelton City Hall. She dumped buckets of ice water on Lauretti (center), Fire Chief Fran Jones (left), and Police Chief Joel Hurliman (right)..

As part of the nationwide ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Perry, who owns the Giggling Pig Art Studio on River Road, took the challenge herself before calling out the three men.

The Ice Bucket Challenge started over the summer and raises money for ALS research and awareness through the nonprofit ALS Association.
