More than 60 artisans and crafters will be represented at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Bridgeport’s 37th annual Harvest Festival of Arts & Crafts.
The event will take place at Paradise Green on Main Street in Stratford on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Handmade specialties to be displayed and sold include home and yard decor, holiday decorations, pottery, hand-painted furniture, hand-stitched clothing items in wool and fabric, jewelry and accessories, natural personal care products, and other items.
Food, music and children’s activities
Food trucks will provide a variety of cuisines for breakfast, lunch and snacking. Church booths will offer baked goods, including homemade flavored cheesecake.
There will also be used books, tapes and DVDs; attic treasures to browse, and a drawing for two piecework quilts.
A children’s corner will feature games to occupy the younger set, and live musical entertainment will be offered at the gazebo.
Admission is free and the event takes place rain or shine. For information call the Unitarian Universalist Church, based in Stratford, at 203-378-1020.
