The Naugatuck Valley Health District (NVHD) will offer influenza vaccine clinics to Shelton residents in September, October and November.
Flu vaccination — with the shot or nasal spray — is recommended for everyone 6 months of age or older.
A clinic will take place at the Shelton Senior Center on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 9-10 a.m. No appointment is necessary for this clinic. Additional clinics at senior centers have been scheduled in other Valley towns.
Flu vaccine also will be available by appointment during the district’s immunization clinics every Tuesday from 1- 3 p.m. in October at the NVHD office, 98 Bank St., Seymour. Pre-registration is required for the district office clinics at 203-881-3255.
Children needing flu shots will be accommodated by appointment at regularly scheduled immunization clinics at the NVHD office.
