Obituary: John “Jack” Buchta, 73, of Shelton

John “Jack” Buchta, age 73, of Shelton, passed away September 26, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Mr. Buchta was born in Norwalk, CT to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Hogan) Buchta.

He was the proprietor of Klein’s Printing Company of Westport for more than thirty years. Jack was also a member of the Printing Industry of CT and a former member of the Sunrise Rotary Club in Westport.

His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and vacationing on Cape Cod. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rosemary (Pedwano) Buchta of Shelton; two devoted daughters Karen Martin and her husband Edward of Cheshire and Jennifer Meyers and her husband Steven of Oxford; his twin brother James Buchta and his wife Concetta of Norwalk; his sister Frances Manere and her husband Robert of Weston; four cherished grandchildren Steven, Amanda, Adriana and Kayla Meyers and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, CT. Interment will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery Greenwich, CT.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 555 Long Wharf Drive New Haven, CT 06511. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.
