Food, drawings, games and more at Pinktoberfest

The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Young Emerging Professionals (YEP) will hosting its fifth annual Pinktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 6-9 p.m. at Molto Bene Restaurant, 557 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia.

Shelton-ValleyGoesPinkThe event will include food, drawings, games, contests, networking, photo opportunities, and other activities. Tickets are $40.

The event raises money for The Valley Goes Pink initiative.

The Valley Goes Pink is a grassroots, community-wide effort throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley to create awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. The initiative raises funds for the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital.
