Valley Shakespeare Festival (VSF) will present Shakespeare in the Bar on Thursday, Oct. 30 at Porky’s Cafe, 50 Center Street.
This year’s staged reading will feature revenge, blood and cannibalism in a performance of the William Shakespeare tragedy, “Titus Andronicus.”
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with free pizza and socializing, followed by the show at 6:30. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Call 203-513-9446 or go to vsfestival.org.
The VSF also will present its own adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol on Dec. 4 and 6 at the Plumb Memorial Library.
Every summer, the nonprofit VSF offers free outdoor performances of a Shakespeare play at the Riverwalk in Shelton.
