Pipescreams is a Halloween music extravaganza on Oct. 19

A concert of Halloween-themed and Broadway musical songs will take place Sunday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. at United Congregational Church, 877 Park Ave., Bridgeport.

The 13th annual Pipescreams will feature five choral groups of more than 200 singers, musicians, a 1920s silent film, costume contest with prizes for best costumes, and post-show reception.

Performers from Shelton will be part of the Norma Pfriem Children’s Choir and choruses from Sacred Heart University and University of Bridgeport.

Musicians include Krista Adams-Santilli (Trumbull), Aymeric Dupré la Tour (Fairfield), David Harris (Fairfield), Frank Martignetti (Bridgeport), John Michniewicz (Bridgeport), Darwin Shen (Fairfield), and Galen Tate (Bridgeport).
