Authors to visit and have tea in Shelton

tea-cupAuthor Teas at Stockbridge’s Gourmet Cheesecake and Delectables at 509 Howe Avenue.

Hosted by Written Words Bookstore, two authors are set for visits to talk about their written works over a cup of tea and dessert.

On Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m., Liz Mugavero, author of Kneating to Die and A Biscuit, A Casket will be at the cafe. Attendees will receive both books.

On Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m., Jeanine Cummins, author of The Outside Boy, will be at the cafe.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets are $30 per person, per seating and entitle each attendee to full tea service and a copy of the author’s book.
