The event at the firehouse will include Italian food, DJ music and fun with friends, according to organizers.

Ray McPadden III was diagnosed in April and has been receiving medical treatment ever since, which has meant spending a lot of time in the hospital.

The “Ray of Hope” fund-raiser for “Super Ray” McPadden is being sponsored by Shelton Boy Scout Troop 101. All proceeds will go directly to the McPadden family to help with expenses related to Ray’s illness.
