Caregiver support group meets on dementia

Caregivers are invited to join the next Sandwiched presentation at Wesley Village Wednesday, Nov. 5, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

The topic for this session is “Keeping Connected in the Disconnected World of Dementia.” Carolyn DeRocco, vice president of programs and education for the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, will provide an overview of dementia, offering communication techniques for responding to challenging behaviors.

RSVP at 203-925-4952 or wesleyvillage-ct.org. The program is at Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community on the Wesley Village Campus at 580 Long Hill Avenue. Light supper will be served.
