Isolated showers now are possible in Shelton tonight, which is Halloween, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
It will be cloudy, with a late afternoon high of about 55 degrees, as youngsters head outdoors to go trick-or-treating. The NWS said the region could see isolated showers.
Steadier rain is expected to start late at night, after 1 a.m., with the precipitation continuing into much of Saturday in Shelton. Winds should also pick up, with gusts up to 29 mph on Saturday. The daytime high should be 49.
Sunday will be brisk and windy as well, and below-freezing temperatures should come to the region on Sunday night into Monday.
