A tow truck was preparing to remove the vehicle as of about 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, and police were at the scene.
A police officer there said no one was injured in the crash. The driver or any possible occupants were not present at that time. The accident had occurred slightly earlier.
The officer said it was a single-car accident. It was unclear if the motor vehicle incident had led to any enforcement action.
The Audi appears to lost control and slammed into a grassy hill in front of an office building in the vicinity of 525 Bridgeport Ave., which is approximately across the street from the Wild Kanji Restaurant at the southern end of the Crown Point Shopping Center.
Various car parts, including a wheel and the front fender, had fallen off the vehicle due to the impact of the accident.
The car was damaged in the front end and driver’s side. The vehicle’s tires had dug up parts of the grass embankment.
The accident occurred late on Halloween night.
