Volunteers can help clean up Shelton garden on Saturday

Shelton-TrailsEklund-FI

The Shelton Trails Committee will hold a work party at the city-owned Eklund Garden on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8:30 a.m.

Volunteers should meet at the Eklund Garden parking area on Oak Valley Road (or on the side of the road, if necessary). Oak Valley Road is off Nells Rock Road.

Participants will be cleaning up and leaf-blowing sections of area trails, and possibly removing remnants of a bridge on nearby Hope Lake. Loppers, pruners and rakes will be used.

People should dress for the weather, and bring work gloves and water-resistant shoes.
