Shelton church presents ‘A Journey to the Potter's House’

The First Baptist Church of Shelton will host a presentation on “A Journey to the Potter’s House” on Sunday Nov. 23 from 9:30-11 a.m.

Potter and speaker Michael Ferris “weaves a message of hope as he sits at the potter’s wheel and shapes a marred piece of clay into a work of beauty,” according to publicity material. “He delivers a living parable showing how God’s love takes us from brokenness to a life filled with purpose and beauty.”

In addition to being a crafter and speaker, Ferris is a trained counselor, adjunct professor and consultant.

The presentation is free and open to the public, to be followed by refreshments at 11. The church is at 176 Leavenworth Road (Route 110) and its pastor is the Rev. Ken Smith. For information call 203-929-7704 or go to fbcshelton.com.
