While no snow appeared to fall in most parts of Shelton on early Friday morning, it was a different story just up the road in Oxford.
This photo of the morning snow on Nov. 14 scene was provided to us by an Oxford resident, a town just across the Housatonic River from the far northeastern tip of Shelton.
According to the National Weather Service, Shelton could see some snow on Sunday night into Monday as part of mixed precipitation that would include rain as well.
Temperatures will be cold for the foreseeable future in Shelton — with predicted highs of 40 on Saturday, 46 on Sunday, 44 on Monday, 38 on Tuesday, 36 on Wednesday, and 42 on Thursday. Overnight lows could dip as low as 20 degrees during the same time period.
