Rotary Club offers free salt and sand to Shelton seniors

The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club will deliver five gallon buckets of sand and salt mixture to seniors and disabled individuals residing in Shelton and Derby to spread on walkways and driveways during the winter.

Those interested in receiving a bucket, to be delivered from Dec. 11 to 14, can sign up at the Shelton Senior Center, contact [email protected], or call 203-929-1484, ext. 227. (Editor’s note: The phone number that appeared in the print edition had an extra digit in it due to a submission error; we regret any confusion this may have caused.)

Shelton-RotaryClubLogoDeadline for registering is Dec. 8. Individuals residing in housing developments that already provide sand are not eligible.
