Rushing waters in Shelton

A view of a cascade in the Far Mill River near Route 110, next to the Shelton transfer station. The Far Mill River forms the border of Shelton (on the right) and Stratford (on the left) at this point, where it flows into the Housatonic River. (Photos by Brad Durrell)

The Far Mill River begins in Monroe and flows through Huntington before heading east along Mill Street, Beard Sawmill Road, Old Stratford Road and small streets in the Pine Rock Park neighborhood.
