The Shelton Trails Committee will sponsor a Turkey Trot Trek on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. People should met in the parking lot at Shelton Intermediate School, 675 Constitution Blvd. North.
Participants will hike for slightly more than two miles, along a wooded trail with a few small hills.
“Enjoy the east pace with like-minded hikers … and shed a pound or two in the process,” said organizers.
The hike is free and open to the public. It is recommended that people bring water or something else to drink while hiking.
The Shelton Trails Committee is a subcommittee of the city Conservation Commission.
