O'Connor paces Shelton's come back win

The Shelton High girls basketball team defeated visiting Sacred Heart Academy from Hamden, 51-44, in the Vincent Murray Gymnasium on Friday.
Casey O’Connor scored 23 points, including 12 in the third quarter when coach Joe Cavallaro’s Gaelettes turned a 21-17 deficit into a 40-28 advantage.
Sarah Skronski scored 11 points. Colleen Flood and Nicole Wells divided 10 markers, as Shelton improved to 2-1.
Lauren Davis scored 11 points to lead the Pacers (0-3).
