A free presentation on paying for long-term care will be presented by a nonprofit organization in Shelton on Thursday evening.
The nonprofit One Source Living will discuss strategies people can use to prepare for senior living expenses.
The talk will take place Thursday, Jan. 8 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Benchmark Senior Living at Split Rock, 708-A Bridgeport Ave. It will be preceded by light fare and refreshments at 5, and tours of the facility will be available after the presentation.
Discussed will be maintaining independence, choosing when to retire, various care options available, and leaving inheritances to family members. No services or products will be sold at the presentation, which is intended for educational purposes only.
The Westport-based One Source Living describes itself as an educational resource organization.
