Outstanding Scout

The National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award was presented to Janesky in recognition of his professional success since becoming an Eagle Scout as well as his support of community organizations that contribute to the lives of residents in the lower Naugatuck Valley.

Janesky, a Bridgeport native, earned the Eagle Scout award in 1978 and attributes the skills he learning in Scouting as foundational to his business and personal success.

After receiving the award, Janesky addressed the Eagle Scouts and told them that challenges can be overcome through personal development, and that the Eagle Scouts should chose specific goals and work toward achieving those goals.
