Spector Furniture will celebrate 125 years of providing furniture to residents in the Valley and beyond with an anniversary celebration Sunday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
The event is open to the public at the furniture store, 385 Main St., Ansonia. The business first opened in 1890.
The event will include food and give-aways, including a limited number of free tote bags and T-shirts.
Food is being donated by local eateries — Antonio’s, Crave, Digiovan, Eddy’s Bake Shop, Hot Tamale, and Koi.
Local officials will talk about the history and economic impact of Spector Furniture during a brief speaking program at 1 p.m., and anniversary cake will be served.
