City will buy two acres near Buddington Road for open space

The Shelton Board of Aldermen has approved purchasing a two-acre rear lot for $75,000 at 23 Buck Hill Road, which is off Buddington Road and near the Shelton Rec Path. The seller is Nina Shevzov.

The purchase was supported by the city’s Conservation Commission. The land abuts municipal open space, including the former Dikovsky poultry and egg farm, which previously was bought by the city.
