I Spy — Thursday, Jan. 29, 9 a.m. Kids 1-12 are challenged to name all the characters in the new children’s department mural.

AlphaBits — Thursdays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, 10 a.m. Preschoolers and caregivers work on learning skills to make them Kindergarten ready; drop in session, siblings welcome.

Stay & Play — Friday, Jan. 30, 10:30 a.m. Adults chat while children play in a safe secure environment; light refreshments provided. Suitable for babies and young children.

Drama at PML — Saturdays, Jan. 31 and Feb. 7, 1 p.m. Teens and tweens explore drama and acting with Plumb’s Mr. Adam and local author/director Amanda Marrone. First session will focus on sketches.

Teen Saturday — Saturday, Jan. 31, 1:30 p.m. Teens 13-18 meet for an activity and book discussion then watch a film they select. Snacks served. Drop in.

Budding Bookworms — Mondays, Feb. 2 and 9, 10:30 a.m. A themed drop in story and craft time for kids 1-5 years old and their caregivers.

Valentine Love Bugs and Flowers — Monday, Feb. 2, 5 p.m. Children ages 5 and older and their caregiver join Mrs. Fritsch and Miss Ronda to listen to a story then make Love Bug Cards and Flowers; light refreshments included. Registration required.

Fun for Little Ones — Tuesdays, Feb. 3 and 10, 10 a.m. Children ages 1-5 are invited to join Mrs. Fritsch for stories, songs, activities and a special theme related craft, siblings welcome.

Book Buzz — Tuesdays, Feb. 3 and 10, 2 p.m. Drop-in with Miss Maura for weekly book and book based craft plus a healthy snack. This program for preschool children and their caregivers welcomes audience participation.

My Weird School Book Club — Tuesday, Feb. 3, 5 p.m. Kids in grades 1-3 and their families explore this series with A. J. and the other characters at Ella Mentry School through book discussions enhancing Common Core Skills and related activities plus refreshment and door prizes. Multiple copies of Ms. Small is Off the Wall! are available for this month’s session; registration is required.

knit! — Tuesdays, Feb. 3 and 10, 6 p.m. Adult fiber fans meet to knit, crochet and chat, lots of support and fellowship in this drop in group, stop in and bring a friend.

Teen Volunteer Orientation — Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. Teens who need community service hourscomplete an application and attend this orientation; no registration required. Parents: expect to attend this workshop with teens. Volunteers must be 12-19 years old, and may not be completing these hours for court or disciplinary board assignments. Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead — Wednesdays, Feb. 4 and 11, 1:30 p.m. Science, technology, engineering and math plus art provide focus for preschool kids in a weekly hands-on activity with Ms. Maura. Drop in.
