Shelton High alumni gather to reminisce, boost scholarship

About 60 people came out to support Shelton High School Alumni Association’s biggest fund-raiser of the year — the Golden Gael Awards Night on Jan. 18.

The class of 1965, a repeat winner, was awarded the Golden Gael Award for having the most attendees. The event raised about $1,800 and all proceeds will go to the Shelton High School Alumni Scholarship.

Raffle prizes were awarded to the attendees as former classmate’s reminisced about their high school days and shared laughter during the gathering at Porky’s Café.

Anyone who was unable to make it to the event but would still like to donate can send a check payable to the Shelton High School Alumni Association, P.O. Box 229, Shelton, CT 06484.
