WHAT’S OPEN AND CLOSED IN SHELTON

Municipal buildings:

Due to the snowstorm, Shelton city officials have announced for Monday that:

— Shelton libraries (Plumb Memorial and Huntington Branch) are closed.

— Shelton Senior Center is closed.

— Shelton Community Center is closed.

— Shelton City Hall is open, with a delayed opening of 10 a.m. (many city offices are regularly closed on Monday).

— The registrar of voters’ office at the Lafayette Complex is open, with a delayed opening of 10 a.m.

— School are closed.

School athletics:

Sporting events scheduled today have been postponed:

— Shelton girls basketball game at Career has been postponed to Thursday, Feb. 5, at the same time.

— Shelton boys basketball game vs. Fairfield Prep has been postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Shelton.

— Shelton Intermediate School basketball games today vs. North Haven have been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 6, at the same times and places.

However, all sledding activities are still on as scheduled, according to @SheltonGaelsAD.

Shelton businesses

— Liquid Lunch on Research Drive is closed.

— OTF Shelton has cancelled its night classes.
