FRIDAY: HAN Radio to broadcast live from CT Boat Show

Boat enthusiasts from around the region will be in Hartford this weekend for the 2015 CMTA Hartford Boat Show at the Connecticut Convention Center, and HAN Radio will be there, too.

On Friday, Feb. 6, HAN Radio will set up shop with a slate of live broadcasts from the event.

Shelton-HanRadioLogoDoors to the event will open at noon on Friday, but HAN Radio will already be on the air with its “Coffee Break” program beginning at 11 a.m. The show “Behind the News” follows at noon.

At 1 p.m., Sally Sanders and Steve Coulter will air “Radio Arts & Leisure” from the Ridgefield broadcast studio, but the scene will shift back to Hartford for a special edition of “Nutmeg Sports” at 2 p.m. and “Yankee Fisherman” at 3 p.m.

Look for HAN Radio personalities Rob Adams, Kate Czaplinski, Donald Eng, Josh Fisher, John Kovach and Paul Silverfarb, all of whom will be broadcasting live.

The CMTA Hartford Boat Show will take place Thursday from 4-9 p.m., Friday from noon-9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For information go to www.hartfordboatshow.com.
