Farm hosting free school garden resource workshop

Massaro Community Farm and FoodCorps are hosting a free school garden resource workshop for Valley teachers and parents on Wednesday, March 4 from 4-6 p.m.

The workshop will highlight resources to help teachers and parents plan and establish a school garden. It will also focus on best practices for teaching in the garden curriculum integration, and basic gardening information.

This will be the first of two trainings, with the second to follow in late spring/early summer.

The workshop will be at Prendergast Elementary School in Ansonia.
