Do you have a family member or friend who suffers from mental illness (depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, panic disorder, PTSD)?
The National Alliance on Mental Illness offers a free 12-week course called the Family-to-Family Education Program, which will meet in this area.
Sessions are structured to help caregivers understand and support individuals with mental illness while maintaining their own sense of well-being.
There is no cost to participate, but registration is needed. Meetings will take place on Tuesdays in Trumbull from 7-9:30 p.m., beginning Feb. 24. For information call 203-521-7271 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
