Marty Coughlin will present “Perspectives on Slavery in Connecticut and Shelton” on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. at Plumb Memorial Library.
Coughlin is the president of the Shelton Historical Society, and will take a historical look at slavery in the state. Also explored will be how slavery impacted life in Shelton, and who the city’s largest slave owner was.
