Shelton students bake to share

Students at St. Lawrence School in grades three through seven learned to bake bread from scratch thanks to the King Arthur Flour Co. of Vermont.

A professional baker taught the students all about baking and then sent them home with the ingredients to bake two loaves of bread — one to keep and one to share.

One hundred freshly-baked loaves of bread were donated to the Spooner House in Shelton.
