American Legion Post No. 16 of Shelton invites the public to join in a walk-a-thon to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
The charity walk will take place on Saturday, April 20 at 10 a.m. at the Riverwalk (Veterans Park) in downtown Shelton. Registration will be at the Farmer’s Market, where donations also will be accepted.
The event is being organized by the Sutter-Terlizzi American Legion Post No. 16 of Shelton in conjunction with the American Legion Department of Connecticut’s Third District (a service area that includes Fairfield County).
Water will be provided
Participants can join a two- to three-mile walk. Organizers will provide bottled water to walkers.
