John Danielski exploded for 41 points to lead Kyle’s Tile past The Buds 87-74 in an exciting A Division game in the Shelton Men’s Basketball League.
Jon Robles had 29 points and Kevin Rivera 27 for The Buds in a fast-paced well-played contest.
In other “A” Division games, Paul Vartelas led Valley Roofing to a hard fought 60-58 win over Colony Grill as he scored 19 points and hit several clutch shots in the final minutes. Justin Pereiras had 20 points for Colony.
The Mad Dogs coasted to an easy 76-45 win over CDW behind 24 points from Derrick Davis. Chris Stacey had 11 for CDW.
Fitzgerald Construction moved to 8-1 with a 92-61 win over Uptempo. John Rullan had 30 points for the winners while Chris Grohe was best for Uptempo with 19.
In “Over 30” action, James Kirby scored 19 points as Critical Entertainment won the first-place battle over Cahill Law 43-35. Joe Thompson scored 13 and played well for Cahill.
Zamba Graphics improved to 6-3 with a solid 58-36 win over MPL. Mike Billingslea had 15 points for Zamba and Bob Piscitelli paced MPL with 11.
KFC also moved to 6-3 as they defeated BUYF 37-27. Mo Martin led a balanced attack with 8 points. Ralph Mallozzi had 10 for BUYF.
