Ticket sales from Sound Tigers game to benefit Spooner House

Going to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers game on Wednesday, March 11 can help the Spooner House in Shelton.

The Sound Tigers will take on the Worcester (Mass.) Sharks at the Webster Bank Arena, 600 Main St., Bridgeport. Tickets are $20 a piece, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Spooner House.

The Spooner House, located on Todd Road, provides food, shelter and support services to people in need.

The event starts 5-6 p.m. at Limerick’s Pub, which is at the arena, in conjunction with the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce. Participants will have a chance to meet Storm, the team’s mascot.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the game starting at 7 p.m. Bring a non-perishable  food item or wear green to be entered into a raffle.

How to purchase tickets to the game

There are multiple chances to get tickets.

Shelton-SoundTigersLogoOrganizers will be selling tickets at the Sports Center on River Road in Shelton on Saturday, March 7 from 11:30-2:30 p.m.

Tickets also can be purchased by calling Mary at the Sound Tigers at 203-345-4829, or ordered through the chamber’s website.
