Shelton Methodist church serves up fish meals to the public for Lent

They were joined by many other diners at the event, with a packed house. This is the 13th year the church, at 188 Rocky Rest Road (corner of Long Hill Avenue), has hosted the meals.

The dinners are open to the public and will take place every Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. through March 27.

The menu includes baked or fried fish, potato, pasta, homemade coleslaw, dessert and beverage. Cost is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors (60 and older), and $5 for children 12 and younger.
