Boys swimming: Gaels 10th at SCCs

Shelton finished 10th as a team with 343 points at the SCC Championship meet on Friday.

Hunter Wronski led the way for Shelton. Earning All-SCC in the 100 breaststroke, finishing 3rd in 1:02.55 (breaking his own school record), he also finished 8th in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.75

Freshman Reid Chavez finished 7th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.22 and 6th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.70

The 200 medley relay of Chavez, Wronski, Jack Marciano and Jack Wise set a school record with a time of 1:48.80

Fairfield Prep won the meet for the 11th straight year.
