Free talk focuses on how the New York Yankees began

A free presentation on “Early Baseball and the Evolution of the New York Yankees” will take place Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph High School, 2320 Huntington Tpke., Trumbull.

The lecture, followed by an audience question-and-answer session, will be given by Yankee historian Tony Morante of the Bronx, N.Y. Morante is director of Yankee Stadium Tours at the team’s home ball park.

The event is sponsored by St. Joseph High School and the Trumbull Historical Society. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Trumbull Historical Society.
